This page is linked from the consent checkbox shown at first sign-in in the AISnapEdit iOS application and from §6 of our Privacy Policy. It explains what happens to the prompts, images, audio and other files you submit when you ask AISnapEdit to generate content.
1. Who receives your content
AISnapEdit does not run AI models itself. When you start a generation, we send the prompt text, the files you attached (for example a reference image or an audio clip) and the model parameters you chose to an AI API infrastructure provider based in the United States. That provider relays the request to the company that operates the model you selected, returns the result to us, and we store the result in your account.
The model operators currently reachable on AISnapEdit are:
| Category | Model operators (as of the date above) |
|---|---|
| Image generation and editing | ByteDance (Seedream), Alibaba (Wan, Qwen), OpenAI (GPT Image), Google (Gemini image models), Black Forest Labs (FLUX), xAI (Grok Imagine), Ideogram |
| Video generation | Kuaishou (Kling), MiniMax (Hailuo), Alibaba (Wan), ByteDance (Seedance), xAI (Grok Imagine Video) |
| Music generation | Suno |
| Speech synthesis | ElevenLabs |
The model picker inside the Service shows the operator behind each model and is always current; operators are added or removed as the catalog changes. We will update this page if the API infrastructure provider we use changes.
We send only what the generation needs. We do not send your name, email address, account identifiers, payment details or device identifiers to the API provider or to any model operator.
2. How long they keep it
The API infrastructure provider publishes the following retention rules for data passing through its platform:
| Data at the API provider | Retention |
|---|---|
| Files you attach (reference images, audio) | Provided to the API provider as a download link; the provider has not published a retention period for the copy it fetches |
| Generated media files | Deleted automatically after 14 days |
| Request logs (prompt text and task metadata) | Deleted automatically after 2 months |
Model operators may keep API inputs and outputs for abuse monitoring under their own developer terms. We do not control those periods and cannot shorten them.
3. Training
- AISnapEdit does not train AI models and does not use your prompts, uploads or results to train or fine-tune any model.
- The API infrastructure provider has confirmed to us in writing (October 2026) that it does not use customer content to train models; it only relays requests to the model operators.
- Model operators receive your content through commercial API endpoints governed by their own developer terms. We do not grant any operator a right to use your content for training. We cannot independently audit each operator's practices, so if this matters to you, review the policy of the operator shown next to the model you pick.
AISnapEdit does not offer a per-account "do not train" setting, because no training use is enabled on our side.
4. What AISnapEdit keeps
| Data at AISnapEdit | Retention |
|---|---|
| Files you upload | Stored with the related creation until you delete that creation or close your account |
| Generated results | Stored in your account until you delete them or close your account |
| Generation records (model, parameters, status, Credits) | Kept with your account for billing and support; removed with account closure |
When you close your account, your uploads and generated files are deleted within 7 days (see the Privacy Policy and the account deletion flow in Settings).
5. Where the data goes
The API infrastructure provider processes data in the United States. Model operators process requests in their own regions. The Privacy Policy describes the safeguards we apply to international transfers.
