1. General Principles
All payments made to AISnapEdit are non-refundable in principle, except as expressly permitted in this policy or required by applicable law.
Virtual Goods Declaration: The Credits, subscription entitlements, and AI-generated services provided by AISnapEdit are virtual consumer products. Once issued to your account, they represent a license to use AI-generated services and do not constitute a prepayment, deposit, stored value, or any similar financial instrument.
All time windows in this policy (e.g., "48 hours", "7 days", "14 days") are calculated in the UTC time zone, starting from the timestamp at which the subscription took effect or payment was successfully processed.
2. Refund-Eligible Circumstances
2.1 Monthly Subscriptions
You may request a full refund provided all of the following conditions are met:
| Condition | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Time window | Within 48 hours of subscription activation |
| Usage | No more than 5% of the monthly credit allocation consumed |
| Eligibility | First-time paying subscriber to AISnapEdit (identified as a unique natural person via email, payment method, device fingerprint, and related signals) |
| Output | No final output files (images / videos / audio, etc.) have been generated using paid credits |
If all conditions are satisfied, a full refund will be issued.
2.2 Annual Subscriptions
2.2.1 Within 7 Days of Activation
A full refund is available when all of the following conditions are met:
| Condition | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Time window | Within 7 days of subscription activation |
| Usage | No more than 5% of the annual credit allocation consumed |
| Eligibility | First-time paying subscriber to AISnapEdit |
| Output | No final output files have been generated using paid credits |
If all conditions are satisfied, a full refund will be issued.
2.2.2 After 7 Days of Activation
A pro-rated refund may be requested, calculated as follows:
| Item | Formula |
|---|---|
| Refund Amount | (Remaining full months ÷ 12) × Annual fee × 90% |
| Early Termination Fee | 10% of the annual fee (already factored into the 90% coefficient above) |
| Used Months | Any partially used month counts as a full month |
Example: For a $120/year plan with a refund requested after 3.5 months:
- Remaining full months: 8 months (12 − 4 used months)
- Refund amount: (8 ÷ 12) × $120 × 90% = $72
About the Early Termination Fee:
An annual subscription is, by nature, a contractual arrangement in which the user commits to long-term use in exchange for a discounted price. When a user elects to terminate the contract after the 7-day grace period, we retain 10% of the annual fee as an Early Termination Fee to compensate for the discount granted and the administrative cost of service discontinuation. This fee is contractual compensation for early termination and is legally distinct from the payment processing fees discussed in Section 7.
Note:
- Annual refunds are available only to first-time paying subscribers; renewals, upgrades, and downgrades are not eligible
- Not available to users who have received any refund within the past 6 months
2.3 Credit Packs / One-Time Purchases
| Condition | Eligibility |
|---|---|
| Within 48 hours of purchase and no credits consumed | Full refund |
| Any credits consumed (even 1) | Not eligible |
| More than 48 hours after purchase | Not eligible |
2.4 EU / UK / Turkey Statutory Cooling-Off Period
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, and applicable Turkish consumer protection law, users residing in these jurisdictions are entitled to a 14-day statutory cooling-off period and may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of activation:
- This right applies to first-time subscriptions only; renewals are excluded
- The right is automatically forfeited once any paid service is used (e.g., generating images / videos / audio)
- Refund amounts are calculated based on the unused portion
- This clause applies only to natural persons residing in these jurisdictions and does not apply to business users
2.5 Service Outage Refunds
If AISnapEdit is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to technical issues on our end, you may choose one of the following:
- A pro-rated extension of your subscription term; or
- A pro-rated refund (calculated based on days of unavailability)
2.6 Erroneous or Duplicate Charges
If you encounter erroneous or duplicate charges, please contact us within 30 days. After verification, we will refund the overcharged amount in full.
3. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- Requests that exceed the time or usage limits set out in Section 2
- Accounts suspended or terminated for violations of the Terms of Service
- Subscriptions purchased through promotional offers, discount codes, or special pricing (unless otherwise stated)
- Subscriptions purchased via third-party platforms (App Store, Google Play) — please contact the respective platform
- Users who have received any refund in the past (subject to a 6-month cooling-off period)
- Renewal billing cycles (auto-renewal may only be cancelled at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle begins)
- Situations attributable to the user (e.g., change of mind, no longer needed, difficulty in use, budget adjustments)
- Outputs that fall short of your personal expectations (AI-generated content has inherent variability)
4. Fraud Prevention and Account Abuse
AISnapEdit reserves the right to decline refund requests at any time, at its sole discretion, including but not limited to the following circumstances:
4.1 Anomalous Payment Behavior
- Multiple failed payment attempts preceding a successful charge
- Switching between multiple payment cards or methods within a short time frame
- Payment flagged as high-risk by Stripe Radar or other payment fraud-prevention systems
4.2 Anomalous Refund Patterns
- Refund requested within a very short time after purchase (within hours)
- Prior history of refunds or chargebacks
- Repeated subscribe-and-refund activity across different accounts, emails, or payment methods
4.3 Account Abuse
- Using bots, scripts, scrapers, or any automated tools to access the service
- Selling, transferring, or sharing accounts and credits
- Creating multiple accounts with different emails, payment methods, or devices to circumvent this policy
- Any violation of the Terms of Service
4.4 Consequences of Violation
Upon determining that any of the above behaviors has occurred:
- The current refund request will be denied
- The account will be permanently suspended, and all associated credits will be immediately voided without refund
- The associated email address, payment card, IP address, and device fingerprint will be added to our blocklist
- Re-registration for AISnapEdit under any other identity, email, or payment method is prohibited
5. Chargeback Handling
If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer simultaneously with or prior to contacting AISnapEdit for a refund, the following consequences apply:
- Our refund process cannot proceed until the dispute is resolved
- Your account and all associated services will be suspended for the duration of the dispute
- Regardless of the outcome of the dispute, your account will be permanently suspended, and all credits will be immediately voided
- You will be added to our blocklist and barred from re-registering under any new identity
We strongly encourage you to contact [email protected] first — initiating a direct chargeback causes unnecessary losses for both parties.
6. How to Request a Refund
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Subject line: Refund Request - [Your Order Number]
- Include the following in your email:
- Registered email address
- Order number or transaction ID
- Screenshot of the payment receipt
- Reason for refund
- Description of unused services (if applicable)
Requests must be truthful and complete. Any false statement (e.g., claiming an "accidental click" when the purchase in fact completed a full multi-step confirmation flow) will be treated as fraud and trigger the provisions of Section 4.
7. Refund Processing Timelines and Fee Policy
| Stage | Timeline |
|---|---|
| Review | Within 3–5 business days of receiving the request |
| Processing | 5–10 business days after approval (varies by payment method) |
| Refund method | Original payment channel |
| Refund amount | Full or pro-rated, as specified in Section 2 |
About Payment Processing Fees:
Payment processors (such as Stripe, PayPal, and Creem) retain the payment processing fees charged on the original transaction and do not return them to us when a refund is issued. In every refund scenario covered by this policy, AISnapEdit absorbs the payment processing fee in full and will not deduct it from your refund.
Please note: the "Early Termination Fee (10%)" in Section 2.2.2 is a contractual compensation for early termination and is a distinct concept from payment processing fees. These two should not be conflated.
8. Definitions
- "Usage" means any successful API call, credit consumption, or content generation activity, regardless of whether the user retained the generated output

- "Final output file" means an image / video / audio / text or similar piece of content successfully generated by the user and downloaded, copied, shared, or exported at least once
- "Business day" means a U.S. federal business day (Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal public holidays), calculated in the U.S. Pacific Time Zone (PT) where our operating headquarters is located

9. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to revise this policy at any time. Revised versions will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of AISnapEdit services following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
For revisions that materially affect your rights (such as refund conditions, cooling-off periods, fraud-prevention rules, or fee policies), we will notify you at least 30 days in advance via the email address associated with your account, or by posting a prominent notice on the Service.
For subscriptions initiated before a revision, the policy version in effect at the time of subscription shall apply.
10. Appeals
If you believe a refund was wrongly denied, you may appeal within 14 days of receiving the denial notice as follows:
- Email [email protected]
- Subject line: Refund Appeal - [Your Order Number]
- Attach supporting materials (usage records, payment receipts, correspondence, etc.)
Appeals will be reviewed by a human and a response will be provided within 5 business days.
11. Governing Law and Contact
11.1 Governing Law
The governing law and dispute resolution arrangements for this policy are consistent with Section 13 of the Terms of Service: this policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Consumers residing in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland additionally retain the rights conferred by the mandatory consumer protection laws of their place of residence.
